Why EMDR?
EMDR presents another unique approach to healing that extends beyond the basics of talk therapy. This interactive modality brings focus to changing the emotions, thoughts or behaviors resulting from the distressing issues which can then permit a natural healing process to unfold. While talk is still very much a part of the therapy sessions, it is less focused on discussing the event itself but the experience of head, heart and body as a result.

Who can use it?
EMDR is best suited for teens and adults dealing with a primary trauma that is impacting their ability to complete daily functions, maintain healthy relationships .
